Fitness Association Rules and Regulations

  • All members must swipe their card at the front desk before entering the facility. You will receive a bar code from the PTO Fitness Center.

  • Towels
    • Small towels are for floor use and large towels are for shower use. Please take only one small towel and one large towel.
    • Towels are not to be removed from the fitness center under any circumstances.
    • All dirty towels are to be placed in the dirty towel bins at the entrance of the locker rooms
  • Lockers
    • All belongings must be secured in a locker prior to entrance on the fitness floor.
    • Long lockers are for daily use and are not for storing items over-night. Items must be removed before closing.
    • Short lockers are available to be rented and can be used for overnight storage. For rental information, please see the front desk. Short lockers are not to be used except by the renter.
    • Securely lock up your belongings. Management is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
    • Caution: Shower area may be slippery when wet. Please watch your step.
  • Cardio/Weight Area/Group Exercise Studios
    • Wear proper exercise attire at all times. Failure to do so is a violation of club policy. Management reserves the right to determine what clothing is appropriate or not appropriate if article is not addressed below:
      • No jeans, no khakis, no trousers, no belts, no buckles- fitness pants or shorts that are free of hardware only.
      • No dress shirts, no ties, no jackets- breathable, non-revealing fitness tops or tees only.
      • No dress shoes, no bare feet, no sandals- Only rubber-soled, close-toed footwear permitted on the fitness floor.
    • Read all instructions before operating machines.
    • Please, report defective equipment to staff.
    • If you are not familiar with the use of any machines, consult a staff member before exercising.
    • Please, limit usage during peak hours.
    • Spotters are recommended when using free weights.
    • Replace all weights and other equipment after use.
    • Wipe down equipment after use (club wipes are provided in the cardio, weight, and group exercise areas.)
